Building a shopping centre in the city centre is always a difficult undertaking as city centres are not adapted to such large buildings.

In the case of this project, the problem was compounded by the fact that various versions of the planning permission existed and that several parties had protested against the applications for planning permission. Planning permission was finally granted in March 2014.

Immo-Pro was called in at the end of 2012 to join the operation to finalise a permit and manage a bouwteam that led to the signing of a works contract. At the end of 2014, a detailed economic analysis carried out with the new developer led to a complete overhaul of the project.

Immo-Pro assists the project owner in establishing the parameters of the new project to achieve a new economic equilibrium. We also assist with contacts with the authorities, the future operators of the commercial units and the management of the design teams in line with the schedule and costs.

In the end, the project was not implemented, despite considerable work by Immo-Pro.
